About NCC

A vision to provide service and disciplined citizens for future India. The National Cadet Corps in India is a voluntary organization which recruits cadets from high schools, colleges and universities all over India. NCC provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed Forces.



In living up to its motto the NCC strives to be and is one of the greatest cohesive forces of the nation, bringing together the youth hailing from different parts of the country, and moulding them into united, secular and disciplined citizen.


NCC aims - at developing character, comradeship, discipline, a secular, outlook the spirit of adventure and ideals of selfless service amongst young citizens.

  • to create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and always be available in the service of the nation.
  • to provide a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed Forces.

The activities of the NCC are conducted with the objectives to -
  • Form volunteer youth to become confident, committed and competent leaders in all walks of life.
  • Provide opportunities and encourage cadets to enrich their knowledge, develop communication skills and build character.
  • Conduct social activities and community development programmes to make constructive contribution towards society.
  • Provide a platform to launch 'Goodwill Ambassadors' to project the image of the country overseas.

NCC at Delhi Public School, Eldeco

The National Cadet Corps is the Indian military cadet corps with its Headquarters at New Delhi, India. It is open to school and college students on voluntary basis.

NCC at Delhi Public School, Eldeco took its initial step in the year 2015, with the vision to enlighten leadership qualities among the youths who will serve the nation regardless of which career they choose and also motivates the youth to choose a career in armed forces.
